Never before has a gay club in the Bay Area, booked a hip hop artist of Lil Kim’s status. And never has a gay hip hop producer booked an artist of her status on the West Coast period.

What status, you ask?
Lil Kim is the world’s first female Grammy winning, multi-platinum selling, hot 100 chart topping, hip hop artist. The Notorious K.I.M. (2000) and La Bella Mafia (2003), both were certified platinum by the RIAA, making Kim the only female rapper besides Missy Elliott to have at least 3 platinum albums. She was the first hip hop artist to work with the VIVA GLAM HIV/AIDS campaign, and now, she is the first major hip hop artist to be featured at a Bay Area gay nightclub.
